Accidents like slips, trips and falls most commonly happen everywhere and some may think that they can't claim for such accidents because it is actually their own fault. Well, let me tell you that it should not be the case. Though everyone is responsible for their own actions but we simply cannot escape uncertain circumstances like accidents.
Examples of common workplace that slips trips and fall happen are construction sites, fishing port, logging area or even the offices. But other than what is mentioned above, circumstances like accidents on the road or within the mall or any other place can also happen. So have you had a slip, trips or falls accident? It may seem odd to think that you can actually claim for something that is of your own fault, but think about things carefully, how did you end up having the accident? Is it really your fault?
Most common causes of slips, trips and fall compensation which you can claim:

#- Wet floor – Wet floor slips accidents usually happens on malls or supermarket, again if no proper warning was made from the institution then a claim is possible.
#- Lack of lighting – Accidents like strips and falls are common among circumstances like lack of lighting. An example would be falling from a man hole without proper lighting.
#- Poor housekeeping – When the cause of the accident was due to poor house keeping of a company or a certain place.
Aside from the above mentioned common causes there is a law for claiming a slip, trip and fall. It is the Liability Act of 1957 which states that when a person had an accident or injuries on a certain property, the owner of that property will be liable for the accident.
In this article, not everything is mentioned but keep in mind that not every slips, trips and falls is you fault. Take extra precaution and when noticing these common causes report it to the company or the certain place so that accidents can be prevented.
